Macclesfield Book Festival 2025 - History Weekend - 16th Feb
Open from 11am until 4pm. Performance by Chordiality Choir at 2pm, and a talk on "The Amazing Musical Opening at Christ Church" by local historian Dorothy Bentley Smith. Artisan stalls, book stalls, and refreshments will be available.

📚 Macclesfield Book Festival - 2025 📚
Book worms and lovers of literacy, join us at Christ Church Macclesfield every weekend of February for our inaugural Book Festival. We'll have our popular book stalls open for browsing and buying, as well as being joined by some excellent local book shops, guest speakers, musicians, and artisan craft & gift stalls. Talks & Performances
2:00pm - Chordiality Choir - A medley of songs performed by the wonderful Chordiality Choir
2:30pm - Dorothy Bentley Smith - local historian Dorothy Bentley Smith will be giving a talk on the history of Christ Church's organ, "The Amazing Musical Opening at Christ Church"
3:00pm - Organ music with Jenny Thorpe
Authors & Poets
Some wonderful authors, poets, and historians will be joining us with copies of their works for sale.
