Macclesfield Book Festival 2025 - Poetry Weekend - 8th Feb
Open from 11am until 4pm. with Open Mic Poetry from 3 'til 4. We will also be joined by poets and authors, and be treated to performances from Macclesfield Recorder Group and organist Ian Dalgleish.

📚 Macclesfield Book Festival - 2025 📚
Book worms and lovers of literacy, join us at Christ Church Macclesfield every weekend of February for our inaugural Book Festival. We'll have our popular book stalls open for browsing and buying, as well as being joined by some excellent local book shops, guest speakers, musicians, and artisan craft & gift stalls. Talks & Performances
11 - 3pm - Ian Dalgleish - organist, performing intermittently throughout the day
11:30 | 1pm | 2pm - The Polydolchi Recorder Consort
2.30pm - Highly acclaimed poet Peter Branson
3 - 4pm - poetry open mic MC'd by Charles Heathcote, featuring Joy Winkler, Cheshire Poet Laureate 2005 & other established poets
